At the heart of Seattle’s Paper Cake Shop is executive pastry chef Gabby Park, whose vision turns confections into minimalist masterpieces. Working alongside James Beard–nominated chef Rachel Yang, Gabby brings a fresh, design-forward approach to baking that feels both elevated and deeply personal. Her creations blur the line between pastry and art—thoughtful, modern, and almost too beautiful to eat.
Intentional Cake Design
Coming up with cake designs is a bit of a mix of feeling inspired in the moment, as well as working off of a predetermined color palette. I like to incorporate edible garnishes so as to present a cake that includes elements of a fully-formed plated dessert. It is important to me that all of the garnishes and piping serve a purpose and work harmoniously together.

Indulge in Indulge in the everyday luxury of our nostalgic slab -style sheet cakes that not only look delicious and lovely and but also excite your taste buds with a unique Asian flavor profile. Crafted with the finest ingredients, our cakes boast homemade sponges, creamy buttercream, and perfect fillings. What sets us apart is the perfect balance – our cakes are not overly sweet, allowing the richness of flavors to shine through.
